Christina Schlegel at Bluetail Travel is absolutely amazing! She was instrumental in planning a bucket-list cruise through the Panama Canal for my parents, my sisters and I. We originally started working with Christina in 2019 planning the trip for March of 2020. When the pandemic caused plans to change, Christina helped us receive full reimbursement for the canceled cruise. When we were ready, she helped my family and I reschedule the cruise for 2024 - she is intimately familiar with the offerings of numerous cruise lines and helped us find and book the perfect trip. We just returned from our cruise and it exceeded all expectations! We had the honeymoon of a lifetime thanks to Christina from Bluetail Travel!! We couldn't recommend anyone else to create a perfectly balanced itinerary to fit both our differing needs for relaxation and adventure, all while staying within budget. With Bluetail Travel, it was absolutely perfect. Every different booking--whether it was hotels, transfer vehicles, activities, meals, or spa treatments--was seamless. The app was super helpful to use as a reference guide, and Christina checked in frequently and updated us if needed. Her communication, planning, and expertise are second to none! We can't wait to use her again!!

We had a great experience using Christina at Bluetail Travel. It's been a long time since we used a travel advisor, and we are so glad we did! Christina was able to give us great recommendations on our river cruise "Melodies of the Danube." She expertly guided us on which river cruise to choose and best flights, as well as the pre and post excursions. We received timely reminders along the way, and knew that we were fully covered through the recommended travel insurance. Luckily we didn't need to use it and everything went smoothly, but I felt confident that if we did run into trouble, Christina would have been there to help. She even sent us an email on our day of arrival to make sure all was going well. We will certainly be using her services again in the future.

Christina did a great job organizing our trip to Greece and exceeded all of our expectations. When we arrived we were greeted by a driver who took us directly to the front door of our first hotel in Athens. We were able to leave our bags there and start our adventure exploring Athens. When we came back to check in we had a great room with a great view of the city. On our second day, we were picked up by not one but two private tour guides (one was in training but we got the benefit of 2 natives' knowledge of the Island of Hydra. We weren't sure what to expect, but got way more than we could dream. They escorted us on a high speed ferry to the Island, teaching us about Hydra along the way. When we arrived, they toured us around the island and treated us to local food. Then we took another boat to a secluded beach where we spent 3 wonderful hours. Leo and Simonis were knowledgeable and personable and even brought coloring items for our 10 year old. Our rental car - arranged by Christina, was delivered to our hotel the following day and we set off on a part of our adventure with friends familiar with Greece, which we planned on our own. After that adventure, we returned the car at our last hotel next to the airport in Athens - where we flew out the next morning. The only hitch was the car which the rental company provided had some minor issues which required waiting an hour for a repairman to come to us. We informed Christina of this and she assured us that she would not use that company anymore. I would highly recommend having Christina at Blue Tail Travel coordinate your next trip!

Christina is so knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, prompt, and professionally reliable. We booked a Seabourn cruise for Turkey and Greece with her (plus Four Seasons in Istanbul, Grande Bretagne in Athens, Blacklane business-class car service from Piraeus Port of Athens) to celebrate our anniversary, and celebrate we did. Additionally, Christina was able to offer Virtuoso perks which really delivered. Christina ensured at each and every stop we were pampered (our Blacklane driver arrived early at the port, waiting for us as soon as we stepped off the ship, for instance); our preferences noted; and seamless service was delivered. The whole trip went off without a hitch. She is the very best. Our only regret is not having booked more elements of our trip with her such as more excursions, airport pick up in Istanbul, or a ride to Athens airport. Onboard Seabourn Encore, we received treats, champagne, and a lavish flower pot for our anniversary, courtesy of Christina; same at Four Seasons. Simply above and beyond. We returned with memories of a lifetime. A short but unforgettable trip. With Christina, you can rest assured everything is done right and looked after. When we first reached out to her, she was actually on a river cruise in Europe with her family. Guess what? Despite being on a trip and the time difference, she replied promptly and answered our questions. She even made time to send us a hand-written postcard from the river cruise (while juggling so many things). She reached out to Seabourn's Elite desk to get answers for us; she worked with her on-the-ground contacts at Four Seasons, among others. The hotels in Christina's portfolio are understandably all high-end. The hotels we booked did not disappoint (we were suspecting some reviews may have been manufactured, but no, the glowing reviews were real.) Virtuoso privileges are icing on the cake. For Istanbul, we highly recommend Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet; amazing view of Hagia Sophia from their roof

We highly recommend Christina at Bluetail for worry-free, seamless trips, especially high-end cruises, hotels, and car service. We booked a Seabourn cruise through her (the cruise happens to be a Virtuoso cruise with Virtuoso hosts onboard), along with hotels in the departure and arrival cities of Istanbul and Athens. We were celebrating our anniversary, and Christina helped to plan every detail to ensure a most wonderful trip. She was always prompt and very knowledgeable. So easy and pleasant to work with. We didn't have to worry whether our driver will show up, or whether the hotel will deliver upon their promises. No stress once on the road. Simply above and beyond. First rate service and personal attention from Christina! I don't think there is anyone better in the industry. We called Bluetail because we had to change our planned trip to Europe. Christina was invaluable in helping us shift from a Germany - Italy to a Scotland - Ireland focus. Her advice and recommendations were just right, and she helped us avoid costly mistakes.
